We built this restaurant for a former colleague. It is always great to build restaurants with great clients, and this was no exception. The restaurant design and construction process moved swiftly and the Flour & Co team are loving their space in Berkeley.
Restaurant construction in the Marina district of San Francisco is always exciting. This construction project was full of small details that showcase craftsmanship of a range of trades. Working with chefs, architects and designers led to a fabulous restaurant.
Restaurant construction also includes transforming unique spaces into usable event venues. The annex in between State Bird Provisions and The Progress was transformed into a casual yet sophisticated venue. We loved the design build process and working with some of our favorite people on this construction project.
Who doesn't love a hidden bar in San Francisco?! Especially when that hidden bar is in one of this year's hottest restaurants, LihoLiho Yacht Club. Our team loved bringing this basement space to life -- and we can't wait to enjoy a delicious cocktail (or two!) in the coolest new space...Louie's Gen-Gen Room. Photos courtesy of Medium Raw Arts.
Wholesome, fresh ingredients are essential for really good food. We loved collaborating with the Project Juice team to build the latest Northern California location in Berkeley. The clean lines and fresh design make our mouths water for delicious, clean food.

Sababa (literally means "thumbs up" in Hebrew and Arabic) is the go-to spot for lunch in the SF FiDi. This fast-casual concept, with the amazingly clever packaging, offers a delicious and delightful experience. Our team had so much fun working with the owner, Guy Eshel, to create the second space. Sababa!

Food trucks are a staple in the San Francisco food scene and it really excites us to build brick and mortar locations for our food truck chefs to call home. El Sur's empanadas, once available only via Citron H-Van, are now handmade in San Francisco's Design District. Our team had so much fun working with chef Marianne to create this light and airy space and production kitchen. Months later, we are still eating empanadas on the regular and suggest that you do too!
Shout out to Lucy Petricka for the beautiful photos.
Things we love the most: beer. And clients with talent and passion. Roses' Taproom is, therefore, a combination of our three favorite things! Helping Luke and Hillary to build their dream taproom was one of our most fun and most rewarding projects. Not only is the beer delicious but the space looks fantastic (in large part, thanks to Luke's carpentry talents!). We recommend visiting Roses' ASAP!
